We sincerely believe that quality starts with the site preparation, excavation, and foundation work (in those areas our owners will never see), and extends throughout the actual living spaces (in areas that our owners will always see).

Quality and Luxury - Below Ground Foundation

Quality in the areas you will never see underscores the commitment to quality in the areas you will always see... and the developers made such a commitment to quality from the outset, with the work in the excavation and foundations.

This project - unlike many others - has not been built on top of fill that is mostly decaying vegetation and air that has never been compacted.

At Batu Belig Residences, the top soil is removed to a depth of approximately 2 meters, then backfilled with crushed, clean limestone and compacted every 300mm creating a solid platform for construction. The limestone is then excavated where the foundations are to be built, which consist of concrete and stone tied together with steel to a depth of 2 meters.

Prior to commencing any above ground construction, an underground water drainage system was built to effectively remove surface water following tropical down pours.

Quality and Luxury - Structural and Mechanical

There are numerous examples which can be used to illustrate our commitment to quality in the structural and mechanical work. Below are a small number of bullet point illustrations - which you rarely find with other construction projects here in Bali.

• Structural timber is first grade dried merbau and bankarai
